The ROLC worship team is a dynamic, fun and happenin’ bunch of people with a passion and common desire to see Jesus lifted high through praise and worship.

We believe that heartfelt praise and passionate worship is an integral part of dynamic Christian living. The Worship Team seeks to inspire, facilitate and lead the church into God’s Presence, where people touch God and in turn allow God to touch them.

Our commission is – Advancing His Kingdom through dynamic, life-transforming worship in our church, the community and the nations!

The Worship Team comprises a few departments, namely, the Vocalists, the Musicians, the Sound Crew, the Logistics Crew and the Multi-Media Crew.

The Vocalists
Team consists of:
1) 8 female vocalists
2) 1 male vocalist (in training)

These vocalists serve primarily as back-up singers at our Sunday services. They meet every Saturday from 2.00 pm – 3.30 pm for training, as well as to rehearse the songs that would be sung at Sunday services. Usually two singers are rostered as back-up singers for a Sunday service.

Recently, we have been selecting and training some children to do “special back-up” vocals from time to time at the Sunday services.

The Musicians
Team consists of:
1) 3 drummers, 1 drumlet (in training! Hahahaa..)
2) 1 keyboardist, 1 keylet (not for long! ;p)
3) 1 saxophonist-cum-vocalist
4) 1 electric guitarist a.k.a band leader
5) 1 bassist
6) 1 flautist

This band of committed and talented musicians serves to enhance the overall atmosphere and spirit of worship at our Sunday Services. They all work very hard not only at the Saturday rehearsals, but also during the week to go through the lyrics and scores of the songs as part of the preparation process.

Vocal practices are held at 2 pm and band practices at 4.30 pm on Saturdays at the church office situated at Henderson Industrial Park – the HIPpest place in town.
